The finishing of most of the pieces is three layers of "Dur" Lacquer. This supplies a good protection to the wood. Nonetheless, a few basic rules should be preserved:
- Do not store liquids in the bowls.
- Do not hold fruit /vegetables until they rot, because the rot can pass to the wood.
- Do not wash the bowls in the dishwasher.
- Do not keep the bowls in the sun or near a heat source.
- Do not rub bowls with a dish sponge. Use wet towel and soapy lukewarm water. Dry thoroughly.
