Biography

Born in Siberia, USSR, in 1945.
Studied Electronics and Engineering at the University of Tomsk.
Worked as a reporter and TV producer in Kyrgyzstan.
In 1972 immigrated to Israel with his wife and 4 daughters.
In 1975 moved to Yamit, Sinai, and opened up a carpentry woekshop. During the deflation of Israeli settlements from Sinai became famous as "The carpenter from Yamit" because of his refusal to take the compensation money. The act was a protest against the unfair and humiliating treatment of the settlers by the government.

Works with wood making custom made high-end carpentry and wood turning.
